This “vintage” Charlotte Ronson video showcasing designs from her spring 2008 collection has us longing for the lazy days of summer. Her sister Annabelle Dexter-Jones looks darling in all the summery frocks, don’t you agree? Now if only we had a cottage in the country for frolicking barefoot to folksy Carla Bruni tunes! Someday… A Matchbook summer camp perhaps?

Last year when the summer camp that shares a lake with our family’s cottage went up for sale, I spent hours dreaming of buying and updating the land. Of course, I’d keep the cabins and mess hall, nestled in the thick green woods bordering this tiny lake. My plans included ideas for a girls’ summer camp (a “charm camp,” if you will, teaching good nutrition and cooking skills, party planning essentials, healthy exercise routines, etc.) Sigh – I confess I still dream about it… : )
