This morning we are extremely excited to be giving away a pair of the oh-so-charming By Paige needlepoint loafers. You’ve heard us rave about them before so naturally when Paige offered to gift a pair to one of our sweet readers we jumped at the chance! One lucky winner will receive their size of the night owl loafer (our favorite for autumn and winter!) — and will be the envy of all her Matchbook girl friends!

This are so lovely! They remind me of men’s 19th century berlinwork slippers. Oh, I think I would wear them with everything! They sure would brighten up an outfit. I might wear them with a skinny pair of black wool trousers or some pretty wool tights. :)

The better question is what wouldn’t I wear these loafers with? They are perfect for every occasion! Especially strolling the streets and Christmas shopping in Lille, France where I am currently studying abroad.

These are WAY adorable! Owls? Me? Being a university professor? I’m all over them!! I would pair them with a red, 8-wale corduroy, above-the-knee circle skirt, short-sleeve, cable cashmere turtleneck (I’m in Florida!), light gray tights, and pair it with a dangly, gold charm bracelet. I would carry my books and laptop in a golden-yellow bag, and would let the owls speak my wisdom! (ok, maybe I’ll wear my glasses too!) Thank you for such great givaway!! :D

With these owl loafers (fabulous owl loafers at that!) I would pair with my James Jeans “Twiggy” Brushed Twill Jeans in Sienna Wash, black silk J.Crew blouse (bohemian style sleeves with intricate buttons on the cuffs), long silver/gold/beaded chain necklace, faux fur vest (Rachel Zoe stye) and hair down in the flowy Anne Hathaway style.

OOOOHHH These are “special” shoes, so I would wear them when I want to feel EXTRA SPECIAL! They make their own statement! When not wearing them, I would display them beautifully in my walk in closet so everyone could see!

These darling shoes would be terrific with so many things, but I’ll start with my cropped, skinny black pants, hot pink cashmere turtleneck sweater and my vintage Goldette owl necklace from the ’70s! I’d settle in to a cozy spot to read Owl Moon to my boys. If you haven’t read it, it’s a childrens’ winter classic for all ages!

Black leggings and a long cozy sweater! I love these. My Grandmother, who passed away a few years ago, loved owls! She had owl magnets, knick-knacks, owl embroidered everything, bells, and many more things I can’t even remember. These remind me so much of her.
