As the election season heats up we can’t help but covet All-American classics, or in this case, a dash of red, gold, and blue!
Whenever we come across these silly stickers by 23 Madison Studio in our Etsy favorites we can’t help but smile ear to ear. Aren’t those mini perfume bottles fun? We’d plaster them all over our Moleskin notebooks and be transported back to schooldays.

You may have read about Aerin Lauder’s new beauty line in our August issue, but have you stopped by her beautiful site yet? From entertaining tips to a list of her favorite art galleries, we can’t get enough of the behind-the-scenes tidbits! Of course her new collection is as chic as she is… Matchbook approved!

This spring we’ll be storing our beauty essentials in a lilac makeup bag. It’s a mere $16 at Topshop and we’re mildly obsessed with the simple, chic design. Round up your mascara and lipstick — they’ve found a pretty new home!
What better way to welcome spring than with a pop of lavender! Mix it with pastels or neutrals for a perfectly springtime polished look.
This morning we’re eyeing the six little bottles that make up Essie’s bright, colorful spring collection. As Matchbook girls know, a pop of color is a must in the springtime and there’s no easier way to switch up your look than a new coat of paint! We’re thinking each color could easily find a home in our medicine cabinet ;) Which color strikes your fancy?
Raspberry is a fun way to punch up any look, no matter the season! We especially love it in the winter months – it’s cheery but still rich enough to wear with heavier cold-weather pieces.
I know you’re not supposed to judge a shower gel based on its cover — errr , packaging — but these goodies by Lollia are simply too pretty to resist! I’ve actually used the Breathe before (peony and white lily) and the scent is just heavenly. Peacock feathers, bumble bees, peonies — convinced there is a Matchbook girl behind this :)
We’ve decided to switch things up around here on The Daily Spark — more content, more often. Sound good to you, girls? Each morning we’ll kick things off with one particularly charming product our team has recently fallen for. This “daily fancy” (among other tantalizing editorial content…) is simply a piece that caught our eye and soared to the top of our wish list. For example, these Cath Kidston cosmetic cases — has floral ever looked so good? We’ve narrowed it down to the quilted number at top and button rose at bottom, but really we want each and every one.
One simple way to celebrate Earth Day? Paint your nails with an eco-friendly nail polish such as these from Butter London. We’re partial to the pale pink Teddy Girl for spring, but the more adventurous Matchbook girl may prefer No More Waity, Katie or The Full Monty.
