Here at Matchbook we don’t know what we’d do without our fearless, wise, and always encouraging mothers and grandmothers. As far as we’re concerned they really do “make the world go around!”

Lazy Days of Summer
This “vintage” Charlotte Ronson video showcasing designs from her spring 2008 collection has us longing for the lazy days of summer. Her sister Annabelle Dexter-Jones looks darling in all the summery frocks, don’t you agree? Now if only we had a cottage in the country for frolicking barefoot to folksy Carla Bruni tunes! Someday… A Matchbook summer camp perhaps?
Design Crush: Alanna Cavanagh
These charming illustrations by Toronto-based artist Alanna Cavanagh are almost too lovely for words. A client had requested sketches with a “Dorothy Draper sensibility” – what a dream job! We’d love to frame her pen and ink depiction of Maria Callas’ vanity chair on our wall. So chic!
